Today’s a holiday in Canada and my wife is working the full day. I went on a very long drive morning, bought some chocolate and excellent beef jerky and enjoyed it in a park in a small village in the mountains.

Now? chips, beer and blue cheese...and it’s only noon.

Two recent experiences have taught me, don’t waste your time with Home Depot’s curbside pickup. Their inventory control isn’t good enough, and it just ends up being a waste of time.

I’m okay, I guess. I’ve been cycling and listening to some economics podcasts. I realized that my borough is the only one taking the whole isolation thing seriously (perhaps even too seriously), whenever I cross the borough border I suddenly see lots of people in the street and most parks are open. It’s very bizarre, specially since people that are wearing masks are screaming at people who don’t, and people who don’t wear masks make fun of people who do.

Anyway, that’s some jerky, and the weather looks great up there.

I can relate. It will be a few days before I can start delivering for doordash so I am just trying to enjoy being graduated and unemployed while it lasts. I'm just fiddling around with editing some videos I took.

I’m alright. We got a TON of rain in the last few days, but my basement only did a bit of seeping in the usual areas, so no big deal. I have one more week of school. I’m in the building 3D printing ear guards, and working on cabinet doors for my kitchen, so it’s going productively.

I am jealous of that beef jerky.

Im ok. Just trying to enjoy being graduated and unemployed until I start delivering for doordash in a few days when my registration goes through.

I want to get a more fun car (not necessarily more expensive, but more fun) so at least I have something to work towards. I’m not even considering selling it until I have a substantial emergency fund, which will take a while. My life going forward seems a little dreary for a while but at least it’s not stressful.

Oh, and that’s some mighty fine jerky!

Forgot it was a holiday, woke early got dressed for work then my mom says “I thought you didn’t work today”. My dad got his bike back from the mechanic yesterday, so I thought I’d get mine out. Renewed the insurance which was half the price compared to last year because my bike is now over 10yrs. I put the battery in, aired up the tires, and it started great. I go out for a ride with my dad and all 26psi escaped the tire in less than 1km. I was already planning on buying new tires but this turns that from a soon to a now problem.

Alive, kicking even, taking it one day at a time. The bride and I have our jobs and our health so we can’t complain. We have an over-abundance of projects to keep us occupied, it’s strange to actually have time to get to them.

Picked up a new-to-me guitar a couple of weeks ago and am building up the required callouses, finger strength and patience that went away during my hiatus from this past time. Also re-upped my Xbox live account and have been playing way too much RDR2.

Currently though, I am looking into my bag of Costco beef jerky and feeling like I am missing out. Sounds like a solid trip!

In other news no one but me cares about - I’m even more disappointed in my 2019 Mustang GT today . This week the volume control decided to start flaking out. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t.

It’s one of those games rooms above the garage. It was my daughters room for years but now that she’s moved out....Civilization is slowly taming the goth purple walls and .....who fucking knows what these floor stains are. LoL.

It’s gonna be my office /“studio”. I’m trying to find some cool fabric for the acoustic panels I’m putting on the angled part of the ceiling (hip roof). Definitely will post some pics as I get farther along.
